hahahHAhA..

Seriously - thanks -

Rucklo is in command of your stereo

This piece is very subtle and serene, yet it can get you to bob your head or do the robot or whatever the fuck you wanna dance to it. I love this type of shit man, honestly it's a crime I haven't reviewed your works for so long... The mixing/mastering is perfect! How do you make it sound so perfect? Whatever don't tell me I'll figure it out ya bastard :)

I love the cello riff, sounds very cool, and the beat is damn infectious. All of the synths sound perfect together, and your use of FX is still stunning to me. I am in awe of your technical prowess, hehe. Like Mr. Bullman said though, you need some kind of vocal scratching to bring this song into like the legendary category. That would make this track stand head and shoulders over almost anything I've heard on NG, at least in this category.

Great work!

Rucklo responds:

Aight man! Thanx alot for your praise, this is my personal favorite by me so far. The mastering is the best, and well, the composition I think is one of the best ive made so far.
The song is actually left open in some parts so i can add scratching for it, but i doubt i will ever do that :/ Oh well, ill probably make more stuff like this in the future :)

Thanx alot for the review mate!

You don't like this song?!??

Dude, this song is really freaking cool.

It sounds very synthetic, and it's really really cool when the vocoded vox comes in, the mastering and mixing is excellent. The intro with the filter sweeps is damn cool too. Everything about this song is really cool, and later on in the song when the beat comes in, it really drives and kicks the song along with a good feel... If that main synth had a bit of reverb on it though, it would have helped create an ambiance that I think would have been good. It's a badass piece man, fucking cool shit. I love this type of experimental, non-mainstream type of shit, it makes me want to create some experimental of my own, perhaps ROBOT HELL 2 is in the works >:|

Ahhh, good ol mischief

I do remember this track. Very very cool, atmospheric factory like buildup, with metallic grinding synth crescendoing into the very cool, hyper yet chill beat. I really envy your non-oversaturated sound, you bastard! I JUST got into town (college town) so now I have fiber optic! Yea man I'll be working more on the collab and lets see where it takes us :)

synteza responds:

Have you ever noticed how this soing concentrates on the left ear? The buildup was done with one knob. That shift thing in malstrom!

Finally, it won't take like 50 000 Jews to transfer a file! The collab should be fun. Send me what you have once in a while though!

Hmm

This is a very interesting first submission. There are a few parts of the song where the beat feels like it's not fit perfectly to the rest of the song, and the samples you used, like the "You know what?" hehe that's funny that you used them from Fruity Loops. It's easy to tell that you use FL. However, when the song is in a groove and not kinda being weird(like the second half) it's pretty funky and not bad at all. Keep it up, and try to keep the entire song in the same key. In the forums, in the audio section there are lots of tutorials under the stickied topic "New to Audio? Click Here!". Check that out and I'm sure you will pick up lots of great tips that will help you.

Very Powerful!

I saw your advertisement on the forums, and I decided to give it a look. Man, I'm glad I did, this is a seriously awesome song, extremely powerful, can be used easily in a flash movie for a very emotional scene, or like a pre-battle song, sort of like in Braveheart when William Wallace inspires his men with his speeches. Something like that. Those soundfonts you got there are pretty good, the only thing I can see this needing is a little tweaking, the trombone-ish instrument is a bit drowning of everything else. Great work!

XGM-Zeth responds:

Good, as it was what i intended to do, making a good battlescene/inspirational piece of music which could be used for other flash movies.

Thanks for the reveiw AC.

shit...

I gave Observer a 9 in overall instead of 10 by accident... oops, sorry! 8-|

synteza responds:

Haha, don't worry about it. You went through the trouble of writing another review to tell me and I probably wouldn't even have noticed, so thanks!

Excellent atmosphere

Like I said to you before man, your songs are never over-saturated, they feel perfectly balanced. Awesome track, and I love that main synth and string-like sound in the background. Builds so nice... and smooth the whole way through.

-ac-

synteza responds:

Goes down smooth like Corona Extra... with a lime!

Maybe that non-over-saturation is just because I fill up all areas of stereo and EQ with an equal amount of sound. I mean, I definitely use too many instruments for one song.

*listens to Paul van Dyk and changes mind*

Thank you,

Very cool!

I really love the feel this song gives off. Powerful, really. You applied the filters at all the right times, which helped the feel of it, also I loved how the bass was offbeat in the beginning, then slowly and gradually started to correct itself. You got some ideas floating in that noggin of yours, hehe. The arps and melodies floating around are just so cool, it builds an atmosphere that peaks when you apply the filter at around 3 min, plus the pads are really smooth and groovin'. The octaving bassline is a standard, but works perfectly here, and the way you go to the sub-dominant(I think) tone on the final progression is super cool. Overall it's a really great piece, however there are a FEW qualms I have about it. One is that the pad is a bit too loud and drowns everything out, needs some more compression, and the main synth needs a little compression too. It feels like they are trying to steal the show away from each other sometimes, instead of blending nicely. Other than that, damn fine job, I'm glad you finished it because it's really cool.

thank you man.. I am sorry I never got around to responding! I love your reviews, and I always have.

hehe

This can be used in a song, so you get 5 in effort because you just wrote a melody and stopped. You know not to waste my time. I've already sent the terminator, he knows what you look like, what you wear, where you live. You can't escape him, and he won't stop until either you die, or he does. He is... the Terminator.
