LaymanLove responds:

Crap! THAT'S what I should have put in there instead of all that freaking talking that is inaudible anyway...Freaking gnomes, think they know everything.

I wish

I could have helped longer. And I wish we could have recorded more of Kellen. I need to get my hands on cubase... and we need to finish Extremist!!!

LaymanLove responds:

I'm just dissapointed that I let Ricardo down with this one. DRATS!

I am

a breakdancing sprite. I'm from the year 2068, and the digital world has found a way into the real world. I'm actually famous when I'm from, and the basis for every sprite dance came from me, dancing to this song back in your time, as a real person. Congratulations, you're music spawns a cult following that leads to the murder of 55 newborn babies in a hospital as well.

Laiderdaiv responds:

Those babies just didn't know how to party.

wow

Could this score my nightmares any more pefectly? I wanna do a music video to this! PLEASE please please please let me!

-ac-

LJCoffee responds:

Please, by all means DO!

Funny you should mention that because I had a video in mind when I was making it - and although I'm sure that our visions are probably very different I think you would do a fantastic job on it!

email me if your serious and I'll make sure to get you high quality exports to work with.

wow

blown away by the beauty of this piece. Like Evan said, you should consider film scoring. It just seems like you have the knack for it, already being into video as well you've got a unique perspective into it as well. I love this track, getting back on topic, and all the subtle asian touches that are UNDOUBTEDLY there LJ, haha. Great work with the sound design, each sound fits each other so perfectly!, however the pizzicato I think is too dominant on the low-mid end, and sounds squished. Other than that, perfect!

-ac-

LJCoffee responds:

Cool beans - as for the squished sounds, I wasn't overly concerned with my levels so it's probably all off but hey, it's only NG right?

As for film scoring, that would be great - maybe I could start with one of yours. We could help make each other famous!

wuuuggghhhh

you gave me a flu

the best damn flu ever

Something in there sounds like Dr. Mario, haha. I really like the drums in this track, makes it feel alive, nice little ambient kinda bell synths, and the reversing of some synths is really cool, adds a creepy factor. Kinda like a pedophile's themesong. :)

-ac-

LJCoffee responds:

Kinda like a pedophile's themesong?

wow! that was the best compliment I've ever gotten!

you fucking sicko! :D

I'm glad you like it, and no pedophiles were harmed during it's production so at least I don't need to worry about any of those damn advocate groups protesting me.

I suppose you could always burn this to a CD and play it in your car while your out combing the middle schools for dates.

Thanks again man - btw - your trailer looks pretty good. Your film looks like it's going to be fairly twisted - I'd love to see it when it's done!

I wish...

I could poop out trance songs like you... I haven't been able to force my brain to make one in such a long time, I don't know what's up... besides that though, nice work on this. That melody that comes in after the second time the weird glitchy octaving pad comes in sounds really cool, cool gate pattern on it and the bass that comes in fills in real nicely. Haha, there's "Zenon's volume trick", heh. Really well done on the production side, I would say the kick needs to be more present, I'm sure the levels are there but the eq can bring it out more. I really liked the glitchy octaving thingy alot :) Anyway, great job man.

-ac-

PERVOK responds:

No trance music!!?! :O

Actually, i didnt have a gate on the synth. All the gating was done by hand. Makig the synth cut early, making every note go fast and silent n stuff... aftera while it turned into a pattern, but it still took a while.

Har, I seriouly think that the only reaon why im different from other artists is cause I do the 'voolume trick' :P

And yeah, i liked that glitch thingy a lot too :) Thus the name 'To the future'. Kinda reminded me of robots n shit.

Thank you for the review! Been a while since Ive heard from you.

whoa

I wasn't expecting a face-melting rockage like this... jeebus, my face is sitting in a puddle on my lap. Thanks assclown.

p.s. EMOSEWA SI SIHT

Metalcan responds:

You're welcome. :D

p.s. I got your secret code.

a little bass heavy

at least on my headphones, the highs aren't brought out enough... and that melody is faintly reminiscent of outside; however... NICE breakdown, with the soft keys caressing my right ear, smooth strings brushing the center of my head, and blockrockin beats barraging my left ear. I really like the quirky panning on the main synth that you do randomly, and the crowd sfx is a crowd pleaser, pun intended. Great sounding stuff from you as always, you're just about 3 hairs away from perfection.

-ac-

Khuskan responds:

The panning on the main synth isn't random, and i'm only panning the echo. The thing is, I had stereo seporation up too high and forgot to centre the main synth's panning, so it sounds slightly louder when it hits the left. It goes once from left to right and back every 4 bars, if memory serves.

I was having problems making my simple dual-sine base being heard, which is what lead to the dodgey equalisation. I found that if I raised the highs too.. high then it just clipped out which was bad. Getting that balance was damned annoying.

god damn

that bass synth is fucking dirty, I love it! the panning and eq soundscapes are well distributed. The superfat saws are a nice touch, but I'm feeling that they are getting played out. It has a cool dark feeling, and then the chord progression kicks in and my face hops on my desk and raves for about 6 minutes straight, even after the song finishes. Anyway, it's still dancing... I'll end this by saying thanks for rocking my face off

-ac-

Karbon responds:

I can see you with your face rocked off right now. Lol.

And I'm glad you think the bass is dirtier than your mom's bed sheets when she was 22. :D
