hrmm...

This was a really strange piece, I dunno if I would label this trance, this was like some extremely dissonant stuff. Trance usually has more of a hook, a catchyness to it, whereas this really isn't ever in the right key with itself. I think you need to work on the actualy songwriting, because this sounds like they are just random notes tossed at eachother.

Also, the song is clipping throughout, sounds like you need to slap a few compressors on everything.

Hmmm i dont know how to answer you, because, well, your songs are awesome, and well, you're the man. But i swear i tried my best on this one... =/ sorry you didn't like.

AHHHH

It feels like the walls are crumbling around me, distortion panned high pitch synths flying all around me, sad piano melodies, gritty drums ripping the soundscape to shreds, reverse claps slapping me in the face... glitches... eep. This could probably score some flash game, like a halloween game. Haha, especially with the cheesy scream at the end, hehe. A good track man, nice work!

FahwooshWhat?

Wow, this is rather hardcore. It's so weird and trippy, I can't imagine this being good for anyone that's on mushrooms, they'd probably end up running away from the evil speaker mouths and bash their heads in the wall, because it looks like the waters of salvation... errmm. Yea. I picture motion picture scoring for this. A high intensity, fast edited chase sequence. I love the rocket flying sample... great effects work on it. Good song, but soooo weeeeird!

I know... it's the weirdest song, but as the last response to a review, I threw this together in the matter of about an hour or so. Thanks for hte review man^^

Great feel to it, but

Around the part where everything drops and just the "wap wap wap wap wap wap wap" sound comes in, I feel like something keeps getting off time... it's really nagging at me. I really liked the way you built the track, I like the old school sounding synths. The percussion is thumpin' and keeps this track moving along with a mission. I really like the wap wap wap wap wap sounds! Very cool sound design there. Good track, just need to fix that thing that sounds like it's off, that was a problem to me.

Sandwhich-lord responds:

off dude i have no idea what your on about.... unless you mean the distortion recorded from my amp man i love that sound ...

Nice work

I especially liked the soloing distorted keys, very tasty licks right there! I'm not sure how I feel about the clav, it feels a bit out of place... The piece starts off simple and groovin', and then when the guitar comes in, man it really lets loose. Pretty good work man, I like the way you built this track.

Khuskan responds:

The clav was added because, well, I lack skill. I wanted to have the solo in the wurlitzer at the start, but I didn't have the time to work out harmonies and improvisation for it, so I stuck in a clav and called it even.

Oh and it's not a guitar, its just a generic graintable synth, though it's pretty awesome that you get a guitar feel from it.

What we got is gonna turn your brain into shit...

This is ridiculous... flat-out ridiculosity. As I understand it, you use ImpulseTracker, which makes this seem like building the pyramids or the statue of liberty with some pebbles and a color pencil, probably the shitty orange one with the broken lead that Susy the retarded 4th grader keeps chewing on. I'm loving the retrigger sample style, it keeps everything going at a million miles an hour, frenetic and chaotic as all hell. Great work on this; man I really like this alot, hah!

LMAO

Nice image! XD

One extra LOL at the name Susy.

Glad you liked it!!

Wow, very impressive!

Excellent quality commercial trance! This had a great rhythm and thump to it, and the synth that came in toward the end to solo was jammin'! The vox was an obvious fit and it all worked together so well, I could hear this on the radio/ in the club for sure. Good work!

Thanks for a outstanding review :p

Taste my bloody ear

And you'll introduce nutritional 16th and 32nd note information into synapses of the brain normally known to be dormant. Buzzing and squealing basses call for freedom from opressive mp3 restrictions, yearning to tiptoe in the furry meadows of the ear canal unfettered by too many 1's or 0's. POWER POWER POWER! This song has some serious power to it! I'm very impressed Rucklo. Now hit this bong, it's your turn...
