[Christmas 2005: Jingle Bells]

Oh does this get me in the spirit

An interesting spin on the song, I loved it! The mix is excellent, I loved the mastering on it, and the bell on the right channel only is an interesting touch that awoke my right ear in a very center-heavy audio portal. :)

Nice

Heard a melody in there that is so reminiscent of something else I'd heard before, but I can't put my finger on it. I loved the second half of the song, the 4 on the floor give this a full dance explosion feel, I love it man, you used the filters to the fullest, and I love the attention to panning you gave it, it immerses you in the song so much! Anyway, great job on this man, I've got another artist to look out for :)

I gotta say man...

The production is top-notch :)

I really love the bass synth, it's so powerful, and it drives the song so well... However I think that if you'd made a second half for this with a breakdown and new melodies, it would be unstoppable! Also, I wasn't a huge fan of the lead synth, but aside from that this track should be going platinum! Awesome work man

It chills you out, so mission accomplished on your part.

I'm wondering if that's you playing guitar in the track, I vaguely remember speaking to you about guitar and I think you mentioned that you do play, and if so, great job it sounds very clean, well played good sir. But where's the attempt at a poetic title?

I loved this song!

Everything about it was so slightly off center, weird and chill and very upbeat yet relaxed...

The tabla was a very welcome addition to the heavy beats pounding throughout the song, and the ambient pads in the background were just right. However I felt like maybe it could have had a more definite lead, but that's my personal taste and this works just fine as is. Great work LJ, and it's nice to see you back submitting, and alive at all!

Thanks Admiral! - yep - I'm alive and I've decide that I needed to submit SOMETHING... I saw all of the new names floating around the BBS and it felt a little like I was fading into obscurity so I decided to start putting tracks up again and to make a post or two here and there - can't have NG forgetting about me!!

for a high person who doesn't know how to use FL, you managed to come up with something... umm... how to describe it... weird yet solid. It's really interesting, and the beat is actually pretty cool, but it doesn't really go anywhere to take this track from a 7 to anywhere higher. However, because you were high, you get an 8 :P

Oh man, is this a good remix...

You've done an excellent job, and I love that intro part with the lowpass filter sweep into the first... umm.. verse...

and you changed the key in the middle of the riff, which gave it a jazzy feel which I thought was AWESOME

I don't know if I would have gone with a dirty saw for the main synth but more like a clean one like in the original...

Overall pretty damn good job man. Oh and welcome back sir :)

[Flashburn - Crimson Keys]

This isn't ambient...

however I won't downrate because of that, because this song is VERY cool!

The melodies and such are too busy for it to be ambient, but I love the melodies to bits, they're so cool! Your synth choices might not be in the best interest of the rest of the song, but I like the piano and bass and the drums are fine too. Anyway, I find this to be better than crystal keys and is my new favorite of yours. Good job man!

[Smix - Nerve DEMO]

Nice drums samples, synths were standard though

All of those synths have been used to death in other techno tracks, I liked the little bass outro part though, that sounded like it was going to lead into something pretty awesome. Anyway, I liked this piece, but it sounds too generic techno-ish, know what I mean?

yeah, i made this using my friends computer, so i had to use the default plugins.(ie: sytrus, 3Xosc...you know the shitty ones)

I'm sure that if a suicidal person listened to this, they would kill themselves right away, which is good because this is the Outro Riff of Death, and the outro riff is trying to bring sacrifices to his God, Death. He'll do a good job, I wager :)
