whoa!

I was just looking through my reviews and I remember you'd left me a couple of good reviews, so I decided to take a stroll into the Indie section and check out good ol' pitters. I stumbled upon this gem of a track!

Let me tell you how ACE the pad in the beginning of the track is, man it really can make a mind wander. The drums that punch right through the mix are very well done, even if they don't vary much, they add a lot to the song. Very cool guitar part that comes in as well, I'm extremely impressed by this song! A very well done piece, it's a 5 and a download.

one of the best pieces on Newgrounds Audio Portal. On my speakers, it sounds like you compressed the bass synth a bit too prominently, but god damn I love that bassline when it comes out in the break, and the percussion is fucking ACE. I love the melodies, and the choice of instruments is perfect, in my opinion. Fucking awesome work, you sasshole. Hang on while I chuckle bits of Ross on your hand while you roll your eyes into the back of your head before you sing lyrics. I have to admit though, Circa Survive rocked pretty hard. OFF TOPIC! I WANT THAT

I am unabashedly in awe. I feel ashamed calling myself a songwriter.

I can't stop listening to this song, and it makes me mad at you! We haven't spoken on MSN in a while, well probably because I haven't been on at all! This song reminds me of the feeling I got when I first heard you on Newgrounds. I was inspired, truely inspired, like the kind of inspiration you get after you've walked for a few hours and breathed in the trees, the ground, the stale air of the city, the treeline, the skyline, passing cars, graves, the dirt on your shoes. It was to your song Dreamrave that I got that feeling, and you gave me about 2 hours worth of feeling, physical and emotional, in about 5 minutes. A burst that feels too good to put into a 4,096 character review. Dangerous releases of dopamine and seratonin? I guess I put it in 7 words. Anyway, I want to congratulate you on creating my favorite song on Newgrounds. Let's chat soon, eh?

Such an elevated written art factor in a review. I know what you mean, but I haven't felt that in a while. Last time I was thrilled like that was when I was 8 and got this Fort Legoredo set of Lego blocks. Now all Lego means to me is a brand name and rollercoasters can't even repeat that feeling. I think I am pouring all of my emotion into music.

Not bad

Sounds like it would be rather high caliber, professional sounding hard trance if it were high quality. It's not my cup of tea, but I'm not going to downrate you because of that, rather I'll look at the more technical aspect, and it sounds( I guess ) like it has been mastered and equalized through and through. I picture this EASILY in a Blade movie. Or, you know, a club full of vampires. :)

I'm diggin the kind of ol' skool feel to it, with the reverb on the kick and the cheese 80's pad, those arppegios were pretty cool, however I would have recommened changing some of the chords in them, there were two notes that were pretty blaring throughout that gave it kind of a too-sharp edge. Maybe lowering the velocity on them would help also. Anyway, good comback! Let's hear some more though, eh?

I really like the driving pace the percussion gives to this piece, the swirling arpeggios played by the strings(which didn't sound toooo great though), and I really really like your swelling brass samples, those sound really great, except when you play more than one at a time. It sounds a bit strange then... however the piece overall is very good! I really like the music, it's powerful, and very catchy! A great work in my opinion.
