Awesome

I love this track man, and who is that singing? A great talent for this track. It's really chill, and the mix is great. Nice work with this man, I enjoyed it alot. The only gripe I have with it is that the drums could use a bit of reverb. Other than that, the rest of the song is pretty much perfect. Again, good work!

Hey and check out my work, I'd like to hear what you have to say about it.

DjSpada responds:

Thx! Well thats not me singing lol (wish i could sing lol). Those vocals are samples that come with the sowtware i use. I agree all the vocals are well made an the singer is talented! :D
About the drums i guess they could use some reverb i just never noticed till now. Oh well next time!

Thx for your review!

Funny

I liked it alot man. It has really high production values, sounds like it could be from a cheesy TV show. Pretty cool man!

Bezo responds:

Heh, I'm glad you liked it. Cheesy was definitely the sound I was going for.

Verrry good

Incredible! You continue to be one of the better talents on newgrounds with this song. You really blew me away, the soft guitar and piano melodies were beautifully interwoven and spoke volumes of your musical ability. I can't wait to hear more from you.

Thank you so much dude, I'm very happy about your review, see u in the next song man

I did a jig all the way to the bank

Put this song in my car's mp3 player. I use FL Studio, but I've used Reason before and it fuckin rocks. The synths that you used in this song are amazing, I will steal them from you hahaha Like kingbastard said, I can definitely picture this being in club, or in a movie club scene... which I'd like to ask you about. I'm producing a film soonish, and I'd like to know if I could maybe use this track in my film? That would be great, and you'd get full credit. Anyway, awesome song man, I love your music!

DJRunaway responds:

Hey man, thanks for the review :) Sure u can use this audio in your movie, but can u send me a little more info about it? JurrevanZwol@home.nl

Thnx :),

Ahem.

You changed very precious few things, but it's almost exactly like the original, you didn't change any of the melodies, synths, drum samples, nothing. That's funny. Anyway...

seven7crossed responds:

well yes...thats why i said its based on melange. Everything else i have made is strictly original. This is the only song i have taken and rearanged. Yet i did state once again that its "based" on melange. thank you for your review!

Hmm

Hmm, the track is kinda experimental if you ask me. But since you put it under trance, I would have to say it's not that great, because the bass synth is way too overpowering and it comes in over the main melody and is very dissonant. Musically it's flawed because the notes don't go together creating that dissonant sound. Sounds like you just put a bunch of notes together in the piano roll in fl studio and hit export to mp3, and it's not very polished at all. If you try harder to create catchy melodies and a drum track that pushes it along with a bassline that is tantalizing, yet not overly complex and loud, then you will have a great song. Keep trying, and good luck

Awesome

This track was definitely more suited for the style of hip hop I like, really nice smooth melodies, the instruments sound great, the drums and the bass pound hard and keep it moving VERY nicely, I really believe that this could be like a Mos Def or Talib Kweli track. You really have talent man, good work, again!

MasterKino responds:

thanks again man, i really made it for like calm rap and stuff mostly using urban type files for example powerpoint and some beats in the middle giving it the calm felling. thax for the review!

Not bad

Not bad at all, I liked it alot. It's a great instrumental, and I can just picture any rapper today using it, and actually the first rapper that popped into my head was Noreaga, pretty old school (what 6 years since his last album dropped?) However it sounds really too much like mainstream hiphop to even be called underground pulse. As a big hip hop fan, I keep my ear more and more to the underground nowadays, finding a big lack in the lyrics of the current mainstream artists, and I prefer much more the use of sampling and live instruments (old wu-tang, the roots, artifacts, old mobb deep, and *gulp* outkast) than using synths like lil' jon and the g-unit or whoever dominates the radio. This track would be a banger on the radios though, ever considered selling it? Good work on this, I'll be making sure to check out all your songs because you have potential.
Peace

MasterKino responds:

thaks for the review i agree man it shoudint be called underground pulse but the only reason i named it that is beacuse like you said my dog, is for freestyling and stuff. its all good man thanks for your review i hope to make even beter ones.

wow

I rarely give out 10's, but this ambient track was awesome. I love the nature sound effects, the soft piano riff, the heavy reverb on everything was a great touch, and the percussion was just right, gave the piece just the right feeling. Your description was adequate, sinister kind of techno, I didn't quite see the lumberjack vs nature thing though, hehe. I would really like to hear more tracks like this man. Great job, now take my 5 and run before some butthole gives you a 0. :)

Vertlain responds:

Yay! I've got 10/10 :D *does a wacky victory dance* Big thanks for such generous rating ^^ I may be making some more of that kind of stuff, since I've got nothing better to do, but I've got to get me some more of nature sounds first...

wow

Really cool track, I love the drums and the smooth melodies never try to drown each other out, they blend perfectly. It's an awesome song! I need to get that good with FL studio, the fx presets and the instrument tweaking and filters and stuff so I can try and make a better techno than you haha

Admiral Conquistador

AaronR responds:

I'm glad you liked it man.

Better techno than me? Heh, Maybe you should set you goals higher..For I am no master of techno. But keep playing around with the effects, get used to tweaking out synths. Practice makes perfect!

Thanks for the positive review!
